Abstract
Nuclear receptor (NR) activity is regulated in a ligand-dependent fashion and/or by post-translational modifications (PTMs) induced by a change of cellular microenvironment. In this review, we¡¯re going to go over various PTMs for NRs and, in particular, discuss PTM-associated pathophysiological functions of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR¥ã) in human body.
